The Anthology Information Technology department is focused on supporting Anthology's global workforce. As Associate IT Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations of internal systems, delivering efficient support for desktop and laptop environments, and proactively addressing technical issues to minimize disruption to the day-to-day work of employees.
A successful candidate will be a dynamic self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision, with very strong collaboration and communication skills to work as a member of the IT Service Operations team. We value a customer service focus as much as strong technical skills.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing support for Windows and MAC based end-user computing systems, including desktops and laptops
- Responding proactively to user-reported issues via the Helpdesk tool, phone, and IM while adhering to defined SLAs
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure and Office 365 platforms
- Installing and troubleshooting Microsoft products, ensuring minimal downtime for employees
- Demonstrating basic knowledge of Windows patch management systems
- Monitoring alerts for server and network infrastructure and escalate as needed
- Assisting with desktop and laptop OS installations and having a solid understanding of hardware configurations
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues efficiently
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues in Azure and Office 365
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft products installation and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of virtualization tools like Hyper-V and VMware
- Basic knowledge on DNS, DHCP and network topologies
- Willingness to learn and work in rotational shifts
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft deployment tools
- Understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructures
- Ability to monitor server and network infra alerts proactively
- Basic understanding of Windows patch management systems and security protocols
- Strong multitasking skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for collaborating with internal peers and external stakeholders
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment
