Billing Specialist

Pay Range: $20 - $21 per hour.

Option to work in office or remotely based on performance.

Summary of Position:

Performs billing of rendered services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

ALL:

  • Generate invoices for all invoices.
  • Work aging reports, pending claims appeals and research underpaid, overpaid and unpaid claims.
  • Call patients and insurance companies as needed regarding invoices and claims.
  • Responsible for entire billing process.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Education and Experience Specifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Some insurance experience preferred.
