Description

As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in leave of absence (LOA) administration, workplace accommodations, and workers’ compensation case management. You will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, manage escalations, and provide guidance to employees and managers. This is a great opportunity for a solution-oriented employee benefits professional to implement structured processes that support team members and leaders across the organization.
 
In this role, you will:
  • Administer FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and other related programs
  • Manage escalations, applying critical thinking and creative problem-solving to resolve complex cases
  • Develop and refine leave management and benefits administration processes
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, providing guidance on leaves, accommodations, and other benefits-related inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, proactively reviewing policies and practices
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting benefits administration
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with focus on leave management, benefits administration, and/or workers’ compensation
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required
  • Experience developing or improving HR processes is a plus

Compensation
 
The anticipated base salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
