As an Accountant at Angels of Care, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, working closely with cross-functional teams—including Executive Leadership, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Revenue Cycle, HR, and IT—to meet and exceed the needs of the organization.  You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulations. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial processes and helping to build strong, effective internal controls.

In this role, you will:

  • Primary support to Accounts Payable Supervisor assisting with managing the Accounts Payable workflow and processing invoices for payment

  • Collaborate with other team members on treasury accounting, including daily/weekly/monthly cash reconciliations & reporting along with assisting with cash forecasting

  • Assist with other areas of monthly GL accounting and reconciliation – including fixed assets, leases, accrued expenses, etc.

  • Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations for applicable balance sheet accounts

  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

  • Updating the General Ledger with transactions from the bank statements daily

  • Assist with other GL accounting-related tasks as needed

  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Comfortable in discussing issues with other departments

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
Key Skills and Experience
  • 1+ years of direct accounting experience preferred, but not required  
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience in US GAAP preferred

Compensation
 
The anticipated salary range is $60,000 - $80,000, with eligibility for annual incentive bonus.
