Sr. IT Business Applications Manager
Responsible for all business applications support across the enterprise including projects/programs. Leads the applications design, development and delivery efforts in support of maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise applications. Provides direction for the application team. Develops the overall applications strategy and directs execution of departmental activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsibie for managing the support of the Production business applications including system modifications and maintenance
- Responsible for application support, development and deployment
- Responsible for business relationships, application performance, and the identification and delivery of new and existing application services to meet the business users known and emerging needs.
- Responsible for building, managing and delivering a portfolio of technology programs and projects that improve business process capabilities
- Responsible for developing and managing an Applications plan working with the senior management of the business
- Responsible for directing and evaluating feasibility studies, project scoping and project planning for business application projects
- Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of technical projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
- Responsible for establishing priorities and schedules for business application projects
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
- Experience: Minimum Five (8) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
- Experience in IT Operations required, PMO setup is a plus, but not required.
- Working knowledge of Lean management systems and ITIL certification is desired
- Ability to strategize, plan and implement change

- Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards

- Should be experienced with broad set of corporate IT initiatives and applications like Salesforce, Financial Force, Workday, Concur and other business SaaS applications and emerging solutions
- Strong hands-on management capabilities, leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Possess a strong business and customer/client focus.
- Ability to interact and influence variety of users and senior management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology
- Very strong collaboration, negotiation, and influence capability required
- BS degree –preferably in Computer Science
