ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance PM will lead and support through the client’s full FP&A cycle, evaluate and provide processes improvement recommendations of financial management reporting deliverables (Forecasting, Budgeting and Resourcing Management).  This role will perform ad hoc analysis and present findings and actionable suggestions to leadership to enable them to effectively manage their portfolio. 

This role is also expected to have a deep sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the organization, and enhance partnerships between Finance and various business and Technology groups.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills while coordinating leadership team activities to support the team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget Management Support

  • Work with the project management team to keep track of budget, actuals, and commitments
  • Facilitate monthly budget meetings to review budget trackers prior to fiscal period lock
  • Facilitate monthly budget meetings to update Portfolio and Program Managers on current financial standing
  • Audit budget trackers regularly for incorrect inputs and calculations
  • Support with Fund Transfer Requests for your portfolio
    • See transfers through to completion
    • Support Project Managers in updating budget information once transfers are completed
    • Confirm updated budget totals are accurate across all financial reports
  • Provide data as requested to support with the Annual Operating Plan for your portfolio
  • Assist with determining future years financial forecasts based on current trends
  • Support portfolio for budget tool migration in 2024
  • Ad hoc reports
  • Provide Coupa guidance and support for Program Manager and Scrum Master as needed

Portfolio Management Support

  • Produce Program Status Report and review with Portfolio Manager prior to distribution
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and if occasionally required support in the following tasks:
    • Schedule meetings, workshops, and team events to support the team
    • Take and distribute meeting notes and organize follow up items, actions and sessions
  • Support Portfolio Manager and Director with additional tasks if required·

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Excel skills are a must
  • 1-3 years of FP&A experience
  • Daily and monthly financial upkeep (eg. Updating Excel budget trackers & dashboards)
  • Day-to-day operational support
  • Upkeep of team resource master tracker
  • MS Office suite proficiency required (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word and Forms), Zoom and Confluence

*The candidate must be local to Seattle. 

    SALARY AND BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS     
    We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions. We share this to ensure transparency and set expectations for those considering opportunities with us.  
    The beginning salary range for this role is $70k - $85k.
    As you excel at Amplify, there is potential for salary increases and promotions. If you were to remain in this role, there is earning potential for this level of $120k.
