We are looking for you to join our team at the Head Office in Hamburg as

Regional Indirect Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Your are responsible for the indirect procurement in your region, which includes Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland
  • You ensure indirect procurement expertise to internal stakeholders
  • You plan and execute strategic and tactical sourcing plans in alignment with global indirect procurement strategy and local business needs
  • You identify, design and implement continuous improvement activities that aim at optimizing costs while guarantying better quality of service
  • You analyze the spend and identify priorities in accordance with local constraints and central guidelines
  • You negotiate with suppliers to find the best quality services and parts at the best possible price
  • You troubleshoot problems and resolve issues with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • You monitor selected metrics to regularly track the main KPI’s
  • You build up and lead the indirect procurement service team across the region and ensure a flowless PTP process

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelors’ degree in engineering or another business-related field of study
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in indirect procurement
  • You are experienced in negotiating and finalizing business terms and conditions for supplier contracts
  • You are experienced in project and program management and have analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to cope with diverse environments (different cultures, level of capabilities, etc.) and high level of stress
  • You have good knowledge of the MS Office applications and experience in an ERP system environment
  • You speak English and German fluently (both written and spoken) and have high communication and team building skills
  • You are mobile and open to travel
