Corporate Logistic Manager

Responsibilities

  • Design and own implementation of Amplifon’ logistic and distribution network
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
  • Create and manage budgets for logistic, transportation and reverse logistics costs
  • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs
  • Negotiate rates, conditions and SLAs with carriers and\or 3PLs
  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
  • Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per customer’ criteria
  • Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and cluster logistic teams

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
  • Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to influence others and drive change with full accountability
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred) and WMS
