What we are looking for

Reporting to the UK Head of Sales, the incumbent will support across the South West of England and South Wales to drive sales growth by creating and optimising commercial opportunities in order to successfully hit business targets. Ensure the perfect execution of company strategy, constantly driving & leveraging people excellence in order to create & lead an engaged and qualified team.

Accountabilities of the role:

 Sales Management

  • Propose and deliver area sales & costs targets, along with the Head of Sales and REX Manager.
  • Monitor Sales KPIs and take remedial actions in a timely manner, including weekly reviews and development plans
  • Understand impacts of competitor activity and ensure customer and industry insight is fed into business colleagues to help shape propositions and action plans
  • Share goals and regular KPI reporting with stores in order to maximise performance
  • Support Regional Marketing initiatives
  • Along with the Retail Excellence Team, source new stores openings and relocations and ensure successful implementation of new stores or refurbishments
  • Seek out & develop new channels to market along with the Retail Excellence Team.
  • Develop a solid commercial partners’ network, through regular visits and relationship building with partners
  • Maximise returns on business investment

Area Management, Planning and Organisation

  • Ensure sales growth and performance development through regular store visits
  • Organise regular area meetings to align stores on targets, company projects, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to company administrative procedures
  • Support & drive effective CRM activity

People Management

  • Focus on performance management, learning and development needs, along with the Head of Sales, HR, and Retail Training Team. With a focus on clear follow up on actions and focus areas
  • Observe Audiologist hearing tests/consultations and provide feedback with specific focus on coaching to improve results and customer experience
  • Foster team spirit and collaboration in the stores, increasing engagement & driving results
  • Effective recruitment along with the Head of Sales and HR
  • Manage budgets and workforce planning to ensure optimal territory coverage, maintaining the right balance between stores and day centers

What you'll need

  • Degree qualification preferably in Business Management or Audiology
  • Strategic sales planning, forecasting and budgeting skills
  • Strong inclination to data analysis combined with same attention to business impacts
  • Previous experience in healthcare/service industry preferred
  • Experience in maximising productivity and ROI in a service business where diary/appointment maximisation is critical as a plus
  • 3/5+ years of people management experience managing multi-site teams
  • Proven ability to drive change
