GLOBAL IT – DATA ARCHITECT

 

Role

The candidate will be inserted in the Corporate IT area with the responsibility of studying and developing data management processes and architectures to allow the adoption of a data driven culture among the company:

-          He/she will take part in projects to select and implement Data Applications worldwide

-          He/she will be an active part in projects from the design phase to the delivery and subsequent roll out in different countries driving technological choices to identify the best solutions with respect to market standards

-          He/she will work closely with all his colleagues in the IT and Business area, interacting with SW Providers and System Integrators, analyzing all proposed solutions and being sure they address all business requirements

 

Candidate Profile

  • Degree and technical/functional background
  • He has preferably acquired an experience of about 5 years in driving developments in complex IT projects in advanced and multi-country contexts
  • He/she preferably comes from multinational companies with an important retail network or from a consulting company
  • Look for and take advantage of opportunities to learn new skills and develop strengths
  • Show commitment to achieving challenging goals
  • Fluent English is required

 

Skills

  • Good Knowledge and Experience with Data Management architectures and processes: DWH, ETL, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Security Oracle Database, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Data Quality
  • Good Knowledge and Experience in designing and developing large scale data applications – Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Hbase
  • Good Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Good Knowledge of Unix system administration, bash and perl scripting;
  • Preferred knowledge of GCP - BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow, Pub/Sub
  • Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack - Power BI and Azure Analysis service
  • Preferred knowledge of NoSQL Database such as MongoDB and Neo4j
