We are looking for you to join our team at the Head Office in Hamburg as

Finance Manager General Ledger

Your tasks:

  • Preparation and quality assurance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB, including group reporting to the parent company in Italy
  • Valuation and calculation of balance sheet items according to IFRS (especially IFRS 15 and 16) and HGB
  • Implementation and further development of the Group accounting guidelines
  • Support the introduction of our new ERP system Oracle Cloud
  • Proactive improvement of internal processes and structures in accounting
  • Contact for auditors and tax consultants

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed studies with focus on accounting and taxes
  • You have at least three years of relevant work experience in a group or with an audit/tax consultancy firm
  • You have an excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) and commercial and tax law as well as a strong understanding of the core processes in financial accounting (GL, AR, AP, Treasury)
  • You are thinking in a structured way and have strong analytical as well as conceptual skills
  • You work in a proactive way with "Hands-On" mentality and a strong sense of responsibility
  • You can confidently use MS-Office, in particular Excel and knowledge in handling Oracle and HFM can be advantageous
  • You speak German and English fluently (both written and spoken)
