International Tax Specialist

As a member of the Corporate tax team, this individual will report into the Group Tax Director and will provide support to the Group Tax Director in designing, implementing and maintaining the global tax function and tax strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification, introduction and maintenance of global and local technology solutions for the tax function
  • Implement a transfer pricing strategy and policies
  • Design, implement and own the process ensuring the continued improvement and maintenance of the TP policy and documentation
  • Work with Finance and Tax colleagues across the group to ensure compliance within the transfer pricing area and other key direct and indirect tax areas
  • Design, implement and own the tax reporting process from the subsidiaries
  • Review tax reports submitted by the countries and consolidate that to prepare the group ETR
  • Monitor main changes of the tax law from the territories where the group operates and evaluate possible impact on the group ETR
  • Provide tax functional support to cross-functional projects, for example M&A, corporate reorganisations and financing projects

 

Skills:

  • Strong international tax experience, including some transfer pricing experience
  • Preferably experience in both tax firm and in-house tax team
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Experience delivering on tax related projects on a deadline in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of tax accounting principles and IFRS
  • Ability to discuss tax technical matters in plain language
  • Minimum 4 years of corporate tax experience
  • Fluent in English
