Description

AmeriSave is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Mortgage Operations Analytics & AI to lead data-driven and AI-enhanced initiatives across our operations functions. This role will be central to optimizing performance, identifying opportunities, and driving innovation throughout the mortgage lifecycle—from processing and underwriting to closing and post-closing.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Lead the development and execution of analytics and AI strategies across all operational stages. 
  • Build and manage dashboards, reporting frameworks, and predictive models to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Partner with senior leadership and department heads to define KPIs and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of performance issues and recommend actionable solutions. 
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of insight, accountability, and innovation. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, with a strong background in mortgage operations or financial services. 
  • Proven leadership experience in managing analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
Preferred Skills: 
  • Experience with Home Equity Loans and Personal Loans.
  • Experience in analytics across Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing departments.
  • Experience working with BytePro.
  • Experience with Asterisk.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including:
    • GenAI (Generative AI) for data synthesis, automation, and insight generation.
    • Agentic AI for autonomous task execution and decision support in operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with major mortgage regulations, including:
    • HMDA – Home Mortgage Disclosure Act  
    • TRID – TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure  
    • RESPA – Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act  
    • TILA – Truth in Lending Act  
    • ECOA – Equal Credit Opportunity Act

    • HPA – Homeowners Protection Act  
    • CRA – Community Reinvestment Act  
    • ADA – Americans with Disabilities Act  
    • TCPA – Telephone Consumer Protection Act  
    • BSA/AML – Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering  
    • OFAC – Office of Foreign Assets Control  
    • MDIA – Mortgage Disclosure Improvement Act  
 
**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **  
   
Compensation:  
The annual salary for this position generally ranges between $150,000 – $300,000.
