Instructional Designer

Help shape how people learn and grow at ACA.
American Credit Acceptance is seeking a creative Instructional Designer who enjoys building learning solutions and working closely with others to make them happen.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative onsite role, where you’ll partner with SMEs, build learning experiences together, and see the direct impact of your work across the company.
What You’ll Get to Do
Design impactful learning experiences
- Create engaging training across eLearning, instructor-led, and blended formats
- Turn complex business or compliance topics into clear, learner-friendly content
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify needs and build meaningful learning solutions
- Facilitate training sessions when needed
Help power learning through technology
- Support and administer ACA’s LMS
- Build courses, curricula, and learning paths
- Maintain system accuracy and support a strong learner experience
- Create dashboards and reports to track participation and learning impact
Continuously improve how we learn
- Use data and feedback to improve training programs
- Explore new learning technologies and tools
- Support compliance tracking and reporting needs
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of instructional design experience in a professional or corporate environment
- Experience creating eLearning with tools such as Articulate Storyline or similar
- Experience supporting or administering a Learning Management System
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics
- Strong organization and project management skills
Preferred Experience
- Cornerstone OnDemand
- Video creation or multimedia development
- Facilitation or training delivery experience

This is a full-time onsite role in Spartanburg, SC.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. It is on-site, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, and some schedule variations may be made as needed.
Travel:
This position will require 5% travel to other offices as needed.
