Summary/Objective 

A Corporate Recruiter 2 works with assigned departments and builds relationships with hiring managers to work through open needs.    Takes initiative and works to set hiring plan with those hiring managers, determining needed strategies to fill roles now and throughout the year, using workforce planning.  Leads full life cycle recruitment process for multiple roles (possibly high volume) within ACA.  This individual could manage vendor relationships and help to determine appropriate vendors when needed.   This person will be expected to find active and passive candidates.

Essential Functions:

  • ACA brand ambassador.
  • Independently establishes and continues to build relationships with hiring managers, keeping them consistently updated on status of open roles.
  • Make hiring plans (recruitment strategy) with hiring Managers using workforce planning and continues to communicate about those plans through the year.  
  • Recruit for multiple positions within the company within designated department(s) or teams
  • Use available resources to source and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates (passive and active candidates).  Can offer ideas for additional resources and help to implement with the team.   Can also share candidates for other roles/departments’ needs. 
  • Produce and communicate reports showing progress of open roles.
  • Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the hiring process.
  • Determines top candidates and conducts pre-screen interviews with qualified candidates, then shares select few with hiring managers.
  • Uses ATS in detailed and timely manner; making suggestions to potential process improvement 
  • Obtain feedback and interview notes from Hiring Managers in a timely fashion.
  • Make offers and send out required paperwork.
  • Able to ask difficult questions in terms of learning more about candidates’ needs (vs wants).   Start to anticipate requests and share in advance with hiring managers. 
  • Works to meet all hiring goals; including time to fill, retention, etc
  • Assists with training newer team members within TA; shares best practices and is a mentor to newer members of the team.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working proactively on roles.
  • Can share experiences of working with leaders as partners, and coaching through recruiting process vs receiving directives. 
  • Applicant Tracking System experience.
  • Experience effectively utilizing social media resources in recruitment.
  • High level of professionalism, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and suggest solutions to others on the team.
  • Ability to connect with people.

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.

Travel

This position will require up to 10% travel.
