Continuous Improvement Specialist
Description
Summary/Objective
The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for monitoring quality, determining the root cause of failures, reporting failures to leadership, updating procedures/training documents, and providing training to the team or cross-functionally to business partners.

- Performs quality assurance for the current business processes within various departments
- Conduct direct investigations to determine root cause of deficiencies and provide findings to leadership.
- Reports results of quality reviews to leadership and CMACA (Compliance Monitoring and Corrective Action team).
- Monitors velocity of work completed by various departments
- Creates and updates procedures/training materials at least annually to ensure accuracy
- Provides quality, engaging, and effective training to teams and business partners as appropriate
- Enables a team culture of partnership, accountability, and positive customer experience (for internal and external customers)
- Partners with other QA (Quality Assurance) and Training associates at ACA to share best practices
- Completes, passes, and maintains an up-to-date status for all positional and company required training by assigned due date(s)
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) as well as internet navigation
- Communications clearly and concisely with cross-functional team members at all levels (verbal and written)
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand format
- Able to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills, strong sense of organization, and detail oriented
- An understanding of the auto account life cycle
- Self-motivated and self-starter with a desire to learn and grow skillset
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to navigate servicing system of record and documentation system of record (Spectrum, OnBase)
- General understanding of quality assurance, procedural writing, and/or training
- Sub-prime indirect automotive lending experience
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
This position may require up to 5% travel.
