Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting scheduling, candidate processing, and overall hiring coordination for ACA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong partnerships, staying highly organized, and creating a seamless candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Working closely with recruiters and hiring leaders, the Talent Acquisition Specialist helps drive the hiring process forward by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, supporting pre-employment steps, and ensuring a smooth, organized, and professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment journey. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Candidate & Hiring Support
- Support high-volume hiring across Operations recruiting and Early Career hiring initiatives by helping move candidates efficiently through the hiring process
- Build strong partnerships with recruiters, hiring leaders, and candidates to ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Coordinate candidate communication, interview scheduling, and hiring logistics while providing timely, accurate, and professional updates
- Schedule onsite interviews involving multiple participants and coordinate candidate travel when needed
- Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand interview formats, scheduling needs, and hiring process expectations
- Represent ACA’s employer brand by delivering a strong candidate experience and professional communication at every stage of the process
Process & Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate candidate records, workflow updates, and hiring activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Manage pre-employment steps including reference checks, background checks, drug screens, employee files, and onboarding support
- Track recruiting activity and prepare weekly/monthly reports and communications for leadership and stakeholders
- Monitor candidate progress throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely follow-up, strong communication, and process accountability
- Support ad-hoc projects focused on improving talent acquisition processes, procedures, and overall team efficiency
What You Bring
- Driven self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to confidently communicate with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners at all levels of the organization
- Strong partnership mindset with a high level of accountability, discretion, and follow-through when managing sensitive hiring processes and candidate information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or related field is a plus, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and similar resume databases preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide timely, polished, and professional service throughout the hiring process

This is an onsite, full-time position. Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary and may exceed 40 hours per week based on business needs.
