What You’ll Do
Strategic Analysis & Planning
Lead analytical projects that evaluate market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and potential business model enhancements within the auto finance industry.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators to understand potential business impacts.
Identify growth opportunities and evaluate risks using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
Support evaluations related to mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
Data Science & Advanced Analytics
Collect, retrieve, clean, and analyze data to support statistical and advanced analytical work.
Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Design and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses.
Develop and assess experiments to measure business effectiveness and outcomes.
Build predictive models and evaluate their performance and accuracy.
Monitor model results and strategic initiatives, recommending adjustments as needed.
Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Identify opportunities to apply statistical techniques to improve overall business performance.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams to align analytics with organizational goals.
Communicate insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
What You Bring:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
PhD in a quantitative or related field is a plus.
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Hands‑on experience with data modeling, machine learning, and statistical techniques.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Ability to translate complex analyses into meaningful business insights.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, strategic mindset.
Location: Onsite in Spartanburg, SC. Relocation required by start date.
