This role is a key role in AMEND’s growth plan. This person must have experience in consultative sales, diagnosing problem statements, building trusted relationships with client decision makers that results in closed business for AMEND. Success in this role will be indicated by the ability to be a key representative and build influential relationships with business executives of AMEND in the Cincinnati community. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for representing AMEND’s brand.
Job Overview:
This role will be a primarily externally facing role with responsibility over successful completion of external business development opportunities that enable AMEND to exceed our new growth objectives. This person will have direct responsibility for the growth of named markets ownership and will do so by building relationships with client opportunity (and existing) client executives that establish AMEND as trusted partners to grow relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution
- Able to immediately devise, drive and successfully execute sales strategies to meet sales goals.
- Responsible for the successful completion of the sales pipeline tasks in collaboration with Solution Engineers and Practice Leaders

- Proficient in deciphering client executive problem statements, proactively setting and seeking touchpoints to understand client needs.
- Facilitate discussions that can identify potential solutions for urgent and expensive problem statements owned by client executives.
- Informs the voice of the customer and provides input back into AMEND’s lead generation focus, our sales executive process/approach, our external messaging, and our business development activities.
- Must be able to inform directional changes in the market and provide insights that result in lead generation activities successfully delivering lead generation goals.
Relationship Management
- Responsible for account ownership, management, and relationship cultivation (adding net new and growing AMEND’s long-standing relationships /reputation)
- Manages and oversees a high-volume of interactions at various stages of the sales lifecycle.
- Responsible for continued client engagement and ownership of the executive relationship.
Account Management
- Perform account reviews in accordance with our retention sales program, actively maintaining executive relationships, and sourcing client NPS scores will all factor into the rep’s involvement in the Client Engagement element.
Market Engagement
- Leads market engagement efforts to increase AMEND’s brand presence and create market penetration.
- Operate as the main point of contact for client decision makers in AMEND’s target market.
- Keeps active communication with client and is the face of the current sales opportunity.
- Participates in meetings with decision makers to have the trusted relationship to close the sale.
Qualifications:
- Established track record of success in fast-paced, solutions and products environment
- 5+ years in sales leadership roles
- Business acumen required; familiarity with manufacturing and technology solutions preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal/ written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is required
