AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Campus Operations Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative functions of the Campus Operations Department. This position plays an important role in coordinating campus parking, identification systems, event logistics, facility operations, and campus-wide communications. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Handle logistics for AMDA-owned parking lots and vendor parking facilities.
  • Manage parking assignments for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Track parking registrations and maintain parking-related information on internal websites and systems.
  • Send mass communications regarding parking policies, procedures, and updates.
  • Respond to inquiries, concerns, and accommodation requests related to parking needs.
  • Maintain parking logs, registration records, and issue parking permits.
  • Conduct periodic parking lot audits and inspections.
  • Liaise with campus departments and external vendors to coordinate special event parking and valet services.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including facility use requests, parking arrangements, shuttle services, and security notifications.
  • Issue new and replacement AMDA identification cards for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
  • Utilize the CCURE 9000 Security Management Software System to create profiles, manage access permissions, process ID requests, and maintain security-related records.
  • Track employee onboarding requirements related to campus access and remove ID holds as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Alumni Services regarding alumni ID requests and issue replacement alumni identification cards.
  • Maintain and audit classroom and studio equipment inventories and related tracking spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate campus holiday, semester break, and building closure schedules with Security, Reception, Facilities, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Production departments.
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives within the Campus Operations Department.
  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Campus Operations.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, operations, logistics, facilities coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and database management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
 
Position Information
  • This position is subject to a background check and reference check upon a conditional offer of employment.
  • Pay range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
  • Full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Fully in-person position based on AMDA's Hollywood campus in Los Angeles, California.
  • The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support special events, orientation activities, semester transitions, and campus operational needs.
