WHAT WILL YOU DO

This individual is responsible for hospital site specimen processing and phlebotomy, and clerical functions. The Phlebotomy Supervisor will ensure cooperation between own area and other laboratory functions, both within and outside the hospital assigned. This individual will ensure proper specimen collection and processing according to established procedures. He/she will also ensure that test orders are properly placed in the computer. He/she will need to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers to meet their needs and the needs of Alverno Clinical Laboratories. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic healthcare systems while performing all job functions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor Degree required.

Four (4) years experience in a clinical laboratory setting required.

Phlebotomy experience is required.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.
