Service Advisor-Trucks
Description
Are you customer-focused, energetic and friendly? Kenworth of Baltimore (in Rosedale) is searching for an experienced Service Advisor (heavy duty preferred). You will be the first point of contact with our customers. This role helps manage the center of communications for all repair activities and acts as a liaison between customers and the dealership. You will be well versed in automotive/mechanical service matters and thoroughly understand the customer's problems to set and manage expectations. Base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent customer service as set by dealership service manager
- Schedule appointments and generate estimates for customers
- Advise customers on the appropriate maintenance required to their vehicle based on manufacturer’s specifications
- Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion
- Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities
- Establish and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with customers to encourage customer retention and referral business
- Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time
- All other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
