Vermeer All Roads is excited to announce a brand-new location in Chichester, NH, and we’re looking to add an experienced Heavy Equipment Field/Shop Mechanic to our team. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds—working in the shop while also heading into the field to perform diagnostics and repairs on Vermeer equipment and components.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $25–$35 based on experience, plus production bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required.
- Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
- Be an experienced welder
- Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed.
- Creating estimates for repair costs.
- Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
- All other duties as assigned.
