Fantastic opportunity available for a reliable, detail oriented Shipping Clerk to join our fast-paced warehouse at Packer Norris Parts in Essex, MD. This role is primarily responsible for tracking and sending orders to customers. Prior parts experience is a plus. This is a full time, benefits eligible opportunity with Monday - Friday  8 am - 5 pm.

Responsibilities: 

1. Accurately package, label, track, and verify product shipments
2. Basic computer skills including ability to learn in-house system
3. Assist other personnel with tasks to include verifying route orders, stocking, loading and unloading parts and adding new part numbers to current inventory
4. Take directive from transportation manager on all cycle counts of inventory and record keeping
5. Assist additional personnel within other departments such as Freight, Credit/Claims, Dispatch and Dealer Counter personnel with tasks
6. Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Must have excellent customer service skills
3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
4. Computer literate
