Norris/Hydralift is hiring a Light Duty Road Technician to diagnose and repair light-duty vehicles and hydraulic equipment at customer locations. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems on site, and thriving in a fast-paced mobile environment, this role is for you.
Compensation & Schedule
- $22–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Full-time, benefits-eligible
- Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays (hours may vary)

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair hydraulic systems and light-duty equipment in the field
- Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs (experience preferred)
- Prepare accurate repair estimates and maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Stay current on industry trends/technical updates and apply them to daily tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized mobile work environment
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years hands-on hydraulic systems experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and communicate professionally with customers
