We are growing and adding another shop tech to our team. Use your mechanical abilities to diagnose and repair Vermeer machinery and components.  Competitive hourly rate & production bonuses available and a sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates. This is a full-time position eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
  2. Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required. 
  3. Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
  4. Be an experienced welder
  5. Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
  6. Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed.
  7. Creating estimates for repair costs.
  8. Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
  9. All other duties as assigned.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 50 lbs.
