CDL A Driver or CDL B with manual endorsement.
Great opportunity for a CDL A Driver & Shop Assistant at Kenworth of South Florida in Ft. Pierce. This role is responsible for test driving trucks serviced by our technicians. The ideal candidate will have a some mechanical aptitude (or prior technician experience) and be comfortable communicating mechanical information to the technicians about the vehicles. This position requires operating a manual transmission/stick shift on a daily basis.
Compensation: $20-24 per hour, full time Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with technicians about mechanical issues
- Provide accurate service to customers with pick up and deliveries as needed
- General shop assistance, clean up as needed
- Remain alert while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with employees and customers
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid CDL A or B Driver’s License with manual endorsement
- Must have a clean driving record
- 2+ years of delivery/driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current DOT medical card
