Allied Physician Group is seeking part-time or full-time LCSW-Rs to provide on-site and tele-health behavioral health services to our Pediatric Patients. We are committed to expanding our behavioral health services for the children and families we service.


We are positioned to provide support with stress, anxiety, depression, coping with COVID, changes in eating habits, fatigue, sleep disorders, irritability, school problems, and substance use.


We are seeking dynamic individuals who provide excellent clinical care and treatment to our patients and are committed to educating our patients through a variety of media sources including webinars, social media, blogs, and professional networks.


Service Hours are: Monday-Friday with Alternating Saturdays.  

We have found that most of our patient’s are seeking appointments between 3pm-7pm

Work schedule: Potential for flexibility.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Provides Clinical Behavioral Health Services to pediatric patient population while optimizing patient’s access to healthcare. Both Individual and Group Services.
  • Informs patients, providers and other stakeholders of available services and the advantages provided by their use.
  • Serves as a point-of-contact to patients, family members and caregivers. Encourages use of program resources to maximize wellness and independence.
  • Provides psychotherapy and care coordination services to patients with behavioral health problems. Coordinates referral services for those patients who require a higher level of care.
  • Performs administrative assessment of patient’s eligibility for social services and care management programs.
  • Participates in community outreach and enrollment activities.
  • Participates in developing relationships with referral sources to facilitate coordinated care.
  • Provides sensitive, culturally diverse assistance/guidance to patients, family members and caregivers.
  • Assists members in scheduling appointments and transportation for consultations, diagnostic testing, program meetings, etc.
  • Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical team members to maintain proper workflows, procedures, reporting and documentation.
  • Maintains integrity of related records in accordance with system policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations.
  • Utilizes Electronic Medical Records and interviews patients, family members and caregivers to compile and document relevant information (demographic, economic, social, institutional, etc).
  • Performs related duties, as required.



Position Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R)
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing direct services to children with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or care coordination in another capacity.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with patients and families of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience and/or training preferred in commonly accepted treatment modalities.
  • Familiar with the concept of social determinants of health and ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish, a plus
  • Must be able to travel to multiple physician practices and Home Office as required.
