Description

All 5’s Construction, a strategic partner of The PENTA Building Group, is seeking concrete Project Managers to join our team in Los Angeles/Orange County, CA!

An All 5’s Project Manager is primarily responsible for the management and coordination of the project team, and in conjunction with Project Superintendent, assumes overall responsibility and accountability for the success of the project.


A successful candidate in this role:    

  • Contributes to the estimating team as required on a project specific basis for lump-sum and hard bid projects.
  • Develops budgets, create bid packages, and descope subcontractors on Cost plus.
  • Conducts an initial plan review, participate in the project kickoff meeting, and develop a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Reviews the Prime Contract in its entirety and ensures that all requirements and obligations are understood and addressed with project controls, documentation, procedures, etc.
  • Develops the project chart of accounts with cost codes (using standard cost codes).
  • Collaborates with the Project Engineer and Superintendent to create the Master Project Schedule.
  • Creates and executes Purchase Orders and Purchase Order log according to standard operating procedures.
  • Conducts ongoing plan reviews of all document revisions, bulletins, and deltas. Maintains a thorough understanding of project documents.
  • Assumes responsibility for managing all costs on the project. Reports costs to the VP Operations (and in some cases Owner) monthly according to the standard cost reporting procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for all project correspondence.
  • Manages relationships with all the project participants with a consideration towards all potential future opportunities.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other subcontractors.
  • Works with the Superintendent to coordinate closeout.
  • Manages closeout of all subcontractor contracts according to standard procedures.
  • Manages Engineer closeout process and ensures proper storage of project documents.
  • Performs other duties that may not be listed here but are part of assigned responsibilities.



We trust that you have:    

  • 3-7 years of experience on large commercial concrete projects required.
  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a combination of concrete experience and education.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Exposure or experience with Primavera P6 or other construction accounting and scheduling programs.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to embrace new technology and tools in the industry.
  • Ability to lead and desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees.
  • Salary Range DOE $100,000 - $130,000

The pay range may differ in other locations. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors and is in good faith and/or offer for this position.
