The Opportunity: 
AliveCor is the most clinically validated personal ECG technology, trusted and recommended by leading cardiology practices in the United States and around the world. We value research, working in collaboration with hospitals and research groups, and supporting internal research in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will advance analytical insights to power business and product decisions.  You will work closely with our teams in product management, engineering, privacy, and regional distributors around the world, and communicate and present information at all levels of the business. 
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in statistics, along with data analysis tools including SQL.  Additionally, candidates should have experience with data visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.), and be able to create dashboards and reports combining data from multiple sources.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive business and product decisions
  • Build data expertise and own data quality
  • Build and launch new data models to provide informative analytics
  • Integrate data from analytics tools and APIs (Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
  • Collaborate closely with product and software teams to prioritize feature development
Qualifications and Skills:
  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or analytical field.
  • 5-8 years of Experience with Business Intelligence & Data Architecture.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and analyzing large data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience identifying and communicating analytical outcomes, verbally and in writing, to both business and technical teams
  • Strong SQL skills, deep-dive into large data sets, and identify data churns. 
  • Good exposure to Python, Airflow, Creation and troubleshooting of  DAGs.
  • Strong exposure to AWS platform, and the data analytics tools (RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Glue, S3 buckets, AWS-CLI, DataLakes)
  • Good understanding of developing and implementing targeted user campaigns by collecting data from various sources and performing data segmentation analytics.
  • Good exposure to Physical & Logical data modeling, and the data-pipeline setups. 
  • Deep Healthcare domain expertise is a bonus. 
  • Experience with ETL and business intelligence tools.
