Sr. Supply Chain Analyst

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will own everything from ad-hoc reporting to long term analytical and statistical projects that will greatly affect the effectiveness of the entire Supply Chain organization. They will be comfortable with advanced SQL, modeling and data mining techniques, and working efficiently with large data sets. They have technical skills, project management skills and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They know and love working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Cognos, and are creative in their analytical approach. They attack complex business questions with curiosity, diving deep to find root cause and developing hypotheses to improve performance. They provide data-driven decision support and business intelligence that is timely, accurate, and actionable and can effectively communicate insights and results across the organization, at all levels.



·Work with the Supply Chain team to define, track and report key metrics in Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics, Warehousing, and S&OP
·Leverage analytics ability to understand business drivers, goals and actionable outcomes
·Provide quick turnaround data analysis to generate insights to help guide decision-makers and executives
·Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
·Build out analytical competence across Supply Chain, empowering the entire organization with self-service analytic options
·Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives
·Own maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
·Serve as team liaison to technical team, ensuring Supply Chain needs are defined and prioritized
·Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand analytics needs, independently solve problems and communicate complex analyses with ease.



·Bachelor's degree required (majors in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or equivalent field strongly preferred)
·6+ years experience as a business analyst, data scientist, consultant, or similar job function, including 1+ years of relevant experience with data mining, SQL, building reporting, or modeling
·Experience with Tableau, Cognos, Excel, Access, SQL, R other scripting languages, or business intelligence reporting tools
·History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
·Deep analytical skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking and a curious mind
