Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: New York, NY
Reporting To: SVP, Head of Information Systems
Job Description: The Systems Administrator (SA) will be responsible for troubleshooting the computer and telephone communication networks.  The SA will also ensure the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Office 365 related initiatives and issue resolution
  • Member of Core Incident Response Team providing initial response to cybersecurity incidents
  • Lead vulnerability management program by managing vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts
  • Perform on-site and remote support for end users firm wide
  • Participate in hardware and software deployment initiatives
  • Participate in Identity & Access Management procedures and further enhance Identity Governance & Administration platform automation capabilities
  • Assists in the installation of new hardware in data centers
  • Maintain assets in IT asset management system (CMDB)
  • Perform minor equipment repairs
Qualifications:
    • Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology related concentration or an equivalent combination of training and experience
    • 5 or more years of IT experience or equivalent industry experience
    • Solid understand of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
    • Proficient in Office 365 Management (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intuneetc)
    • Understanding of general programming techniques, preferably Powershell, SQL and VB Script
    • Experience with virtual environments, preferably leveraging VMWare and Citrix
    • Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) systems, preferably Netapp
    • Understanding of networking principles (e.g. OSI model, DNS, DHCP, etc)
    • Must be able to continually learn new systems and technological developments
    • Able to work after hours as needed
    • Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills and can handle tight deadlines.
Compensation: Base salary anticipated to be $85-95k, plus discretionary bonus and outstanding benefits
