Job Title: Administrator 
Reports to: VP, Manager - Client & Portfolio Administration
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Match & affirm trades on Depository Trust Company (DTC) via Omgeo Trade suite
  • Match foreign trades with brokers via DTCC (Central Trade Manager) CTM  
  • Interaction with traders on a daily basis 
  • Responsible for end of day processing of trades, including daily P&L valuations
  • Liaise with brokerage firms, clearing houses, and custodian banks to resolve any issues that arise in settlement of trades
  • Reconcile cash and equity positions with custodian banks on a daily basis
  • Reconcile client accounts on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Maintain reference data for all clients 
  • Preparation of new accounts and documentation
  • Maintain and update settlement instructions on DTCC Alert
  • Work closely with Prime Brokers on various trade and settlement issues, total return swaps, and f/x business.
 
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above in a 4.0 scale is required
  • 5+ years working in investment management operations 
  • Must be highly motivated, organized, and analytical
  • Must be able to work with clients and in-house personnel effectively
 
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding of data management and stewardship
  • Knowledge of DTCC, including Omgeo CTM and Trade Suite.
  • Knowledge of accounting and reconciliation software.
  • Knowledge of order management systems and analysis systems. Eagle, Charles River, Bloomberg, and Factset are a plus.
 
Compensation: Base salary anticipated to be $90-120k base, discretionary bonus, and outstanding benefits.
