Summary:

The Audience Development Strategist is responsible for maintaining a robust publishing schedule of various media content (videos, articles, graphics) across all digital platforms as well managing media partnerships and providing data insights to support digital growth campaigns and initiatives.

Only candidates based in US will be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and advise on optimal publishing strategies with the responsibility for scheduling and publishing media content (videos, articles, graphics) across digital platforms (social and proprietary).
  • Work with editorial teams on optimization of headlines, titles, descriptions and thumbnails.
  • You are responsible for tagging content correctly and inputting meta-data to ensure accurate data collection for future analysis.
  • Create and manage publishing and content partnerships for digital platforms that support overall growth and building inroads to new audiences. Additionally, this includes paid marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze data to drive growth initiatives and advise on content and publishing strategies.
  • Regular reports to management and editorial teams on content performance, audience behavior, engagement, growth and KPIs are required.
  • Manage audience development partnerships
  • Maintain records of best practices and distribute amongst necessary parties
  • Monitor and Analyze impact of paid marketing initiatives, media trends and updates, competitor content and publishing initiatives, news and trends consistently across all digital media platforms
  • Innovate new methods of driving audience engagement

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in journalism or digital media, or relevant experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Social Media Publishing and/or Audience Development Role at a news/media organization
  • Proven experience working on/with primary social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter)
  • Experience in analyzing data and trends in the media space
  • Knowledge in Digital Media Marketing Trends and Tools; Understanding of best practices for tagging and meta-data
