Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Dispatch team incoming lines and contribute to day to day business items.
  • Vet incoming service requests, create work orders and communicate entries to the dispatch team for scheduling requirements.
  • Organize, update, and maintain information on computer systems and in archives.
  • Issue purchase orders, track materials + notify of delays.  
  • Follow up with suppliers when material is due, and arrange pickup by Company drivers, couriers, or other means as required.  
  • Receive material (if required), update tracking details and provide updates to valid teams
  • Ensure tools are signed out, and arrange for repairs when necessary, using drivers and warehouseman, or third-party repair shops.    
  • Schedule sub-contractors to assist as directed by dispatch and technicians.   
  • Provide support to assist field staff to complete all work in a professional and efficient manner. Inclusive of entering resolution notes for non-Mobile technicians.  
  • Review technician’s daily notes, format, spell check & payroll entries for accuracy.
  • Assign work and jobs to technical staff based upon the direction of the dispatchers.  
  • Reception coverage (if required).

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience is service industry preferred but not required
  • Dispatching experience preferred but not required
  • Customer service
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and take initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within various timelines set out by the customer & our business. 
  • Proficiency in English.
