Position Summary

 Ainsworth is looking for a proven high performing Sales Professional in the GTA with a consistent track record of success. Reporting to the Director of Sales and focused on HVAC offerings, this role is responsible for growth of the company’s revenue and margin by generating sales through new customer acquisition. The position has an attractive fixed and variable compensation package based upon previous proven achievement and attainment of targets.


Responsibilities

  • Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sells HVAC/R maintenance agreements by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide feedback to sales/ marketing and corporate leadership on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Timely and accurate reporting of opportunity pipeline and sales activity on our CRM
  • Consistently uphold Ainsworth corporate image, specifically in the creation and use of services, promotional materials and events and continually evolve

Education and Experience

  • Ten years outside sales experience in a B2B environment
  • One to three years of management experience an asset
  • Strategic leadership ability
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage several projects simultaneously
  • Works effectively under constricted timelines
  • HVAC and Facility Operations experience preferred
  • Post-secondary education an asset.
