Job Summary:  
   
The Power Services EIT primary responsibility is to work with the Power Service Manager by completing Projects and Studies including small and large projects and demand service as required.  
  
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform studies and assist SR. Power Services Engineer in developing scope of work and execution of the engineering projects and studies.
  • Coordinate project electrical activities as directed and required by SR Power Services Engineer or Service Manager.
  • Assist SR. Power Services Engineer in preparing electrical project schedule, progress reports and cost estimates.
  • Experience with Power Systems studies, arc flash, coordination using Easy Power, ETAP
  • Perform relay protection testing.
  • Perform pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems on as required basis.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
   
Qualifications:  
  • Engineering Degree required.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in the industry.
  • Effective customer service as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; Excel and AutoCAD is essential.
  • Demonstrated coordination, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work within a fast-paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands.
