Senior Software Engineer

OPEXUS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that serve our government customers and the communities they serve.  As a member of the engineering team, you will help build the next generation of case management solutions focused on the public sector and select private sector communities.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing solutions on the .NET platform leveraging C#.

Key Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior software engineer to... 

• Deliver high-quality software design and architecture 
• Rapidly build and deploy new product features to serve the needs of our customers 
• Work closely with the product management team to Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle 

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting 
• Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve products 
• Review code commits to uphold standards of code quality and security 

• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing complex enterprise solutions utilizing the following technologies: .NET, C#, Azure, SQL Server, Windows, Azure DevOps 

• Experience in all application design phases including requirements definition, decomposition, design, code review, code quality, and troubleshooting issues. 
• Experience delivering software products using Agile methodologies; hands-on experience leading Agile teams 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Proficiencies in C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
