Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and migrate Tableau servers and desktop products
• Create/Manage Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, Data Connections and Create/Modify/Manage server task schedules
• Administer users and troubleshoot Tableau server, Dashboards and access issues
• Implement and maintain Tableau access, data security and server backup/recovery
• Perform daily monitoring of Tableau environment, logs and ensure SLA/SLO compliance
• Manage and own complex tasks requiring cross-team and cross-agency coordination
• Evaluate options for improvements, through product/feature evaluations, testing or proof of concept projects 

Required Skills and Experience

• Overall professional IT experience of 6 years
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as Tableau Administrator supporting production environment
• Experience with Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL data sources
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environment preferred
• Basic SQL, Linux shell and Windows scripting skill
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal/team skills
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Well organized and detail oriented

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university (Computer Science or Math preferred)

   Security Clearance

• US citizenship - Active Secret or Interim Secret Clearance.
