Job Summary
The Corporate Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving pricing strategy, multi-year planning, strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other corporate transactions. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments to evaluate and execute strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial and strategic analyses to support deal evaluation and decision-making.
- Work with Product Management/Sales/Leadership Team to set pricing and get company buy in.
- Coordinate with Operations Team to ensure pricing strategies can be operationalized.
- Multi-Year Planning
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Manage due diligence processes across functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, Engineering).
- Lead post-merger integration planning and execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with external advisors, bankers, and industry contacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in corporate development, accounting, investment banking, strategy consulting, or FP&A.
- Strong financial modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
