Spare Parts & Maintenance Support

Your role
We are looking for a Spare Parts Technician & Maintenance Support for the Maintenance team, who will report to Maintenance Manager at our Mantova plant. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the factory's spare parts inventory and providing essential administrative support to the maintenance department. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance team has the necessary resources to perform their duties and that all external contractors adhere to company and regulatory compliance standards.
What you will do
Spare Parts Management
- Inventory Control: Manage the spare parts inventory.This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Procurement: Generate purchase requisitions and track orders for new or low-stock parts, ensuring the maintenance team always has what they need to avoid delays.
- Organization: Keep the spare parts storeroom clean and organized, making it easy for technicians to find and access parts.
Maintenance Administrative Support
- Contractor Compliance: Serve as the main point of contact for maintenance contractors. You will be responsible for ensuring all contractors have the correct permits and that their work adheres to all safety and company regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and contractor documentation.
- Administration: Assist with the daily administration of the maintenance systems by creating and closing work orders and generating reports to support the maintenance team.
Who we are looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in a technical or administrative field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience in an administrative or support role, with a focus on record-keeping and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
