Senior Salesforce CommerceCloud Engineer🐾
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce CommerceCloud Engineer to join the Nature’s Menu D2C Engineering team. In this role you would be working with our established Salesforce CommerceCloud platform on customer-facing features as well as enabling other digital teams. And ensuring the smooth running of our D2C operation that serves over 9,000 dogs and their owners.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract, full-time hybrid working position based in our London Southwark office at least one day a week.

Our business is growing, with more people trusting Nature’s Menu with their pet’s diet every week. To reach a diverse community of pets and pet owners, we have created an innovative Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) team to focus on bringing our products and expertise in pet wellbeing online.
Our team🐾
Our team is leading a groundbreaking D2C eCommerce project to shake up the pet food industry. We have big ambitions. When you join our team you have the opportunity to make an impact from your first 30 days. You’ll be working with, and learning from commercially-experienced D2C experts and our international Affinity Petcare community.
What you’ll do
In your day-to-day you would work with our existing Salesforce CommerceCloud offering building out consumer-facing experiences. This would range from scoping, estimating and planning out the work packages, understanding the impact, breaking down tasks, and focusing on effective delivery of features. This would also include reviewing pull requests, contributing to the architecture and ensuring a high quality standard.
You would work with the Head of Engineering, Product and Data teams. On occasion, you would help non-technical stakeholders such as Marketing, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams on supporting technical deliveries.
Job scope
- Own features end-to-end in our established Salesforce CommerceCloud platform
- Plan, architect and develop features
- Communicate technical and product issues to diverse stakeholders
- Deliver and care about testing strategies, such as unit testing and end-to-end testing
- Work in an agile and flexible environment, making data-driven decisions and being able to pivot
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to break down tasks and upholding high quality standards while delivering value
About you
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience with Salesforce CommerceCloud and the Salesforce ecosystem is essential
- Expert knowledge in JavaScript
- Growth mindset while being customer-focused and pragmatic
- Experience in subscription-based consumer-facing ecommerce products
