Junior Brand & Trade Marketeer - International Markets

Your Role
Are you a passionate Brand & Trade Marketeer ready to drive the growth of our beloved brands?
Affinity Petcare is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and make a significant impact in International Markets.
Reporting directly to the International Markets Marketing Manager within the Expansion Marketing Business Unit, you'll be instrumental in executing Affinity’s expansion strategy, constantly seeking out new opportunities and ensuring the successful execution of our yearly plans.
What you will do
- Brand & Market Growth Planning & Activation:
- Brand & Markets Planning: Support the International Marketing Manager in the development / Deployment of the Annual Brand & Market Plans
- Brand Activation: Activation of local media advertising actions and consumer promotions in close collaboration with our local partners, agencies and Global Marketing teams.
- Innovation Launch Excellence: Lead trade readiness for the International Markets product launches, including: sellin decks, trade stories, SKU prioritisation, pricing & promo mechanics, and visibility plans.
- Channel Strategy & Activation:
- Promotion & Visibility planning and activation: Own the trade marketing calendar, coordinating promo phasing, visibility programs, and store execution.
- In- Store Excellence: Drive in-store excellence through POSM deployment, planograms, secondary placements, and retail / partner staff.
- Support Key Account Managers in Joint Business Planning in core countries while ensuring alignment between brand priorities and customer needs.
- A&P Management: own the marketing & trade marketing budget for International Markets; ensure disciplined planning and tracking.
- Performance & Market Insights
- Monitor Brand Performance across geographies and propose and implement optimized brand activations
- Evaluate promotion effectiveness and ROI, using sell-out data and postevaluation to optimize future investment.
- Monitor competitor moves and consumer trends to pivot our tactics before the market does
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a Brand Management or Trade Marketing position with FMCG background, ideally +3 years in a related or equivalent position
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Slavic languages, French, Italian or Portuguese would be a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities and project management skills
- Bias for action and curiosity are highly valued
