The role
We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Category Management team. Reporting directly to the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of one of our strategic segments, where you will have to work on all category levers to accelerate its growth. A truly 360° position, where you'll have the opportunity to work on all the levers and with the whole organization!
What will you do
Analysis on different levers
  • Analyse market trends and present the main findings
  • Help define the new sources of growth in the category to always be "ahead of the curve" and feed marketing on the new trends to be considered
 Assortment:
  • Define the optimum range to cover the segment's strategic needs
  • Work on an ad hoc category vision in order to maximise the sales and the impact
  • Manage best sellers in terms of sell-out and sell-in vs. precise objectives
Promotion
  • Analyse our promotional performance (Nielsen) and competitor strategies
  • Participate in the development of the promotional strategy and support the store teams in its implementation
On shelf visibility and POS materials
  • Define the best category approach for this segment
  • Drawing category projects and help retailers to improve shelf value and ROS (Spaceman)
  • Develop the most effective merchandising materials to stand out on the shelf, in direct collaboration with the field (POS)
Activations
  • Work with the Field and Marketing teams to develop the best possible in-store activations
    What we are looking for
    5 years' higher education ideally in Business, with at least 3 years' experience in similar positions (Market Category Manager, Retail Category Manager, Product Manager, etc.).

    You are recognized for your analytical skills and your ability to manage cross-functional projects involving numerous stakeholders.
    • Analysis of retailer and consumer panels (Nielsen),
    • Advanced use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel (DCT),
    • Knowledge of Spaceman would be a plus
    • English essential
    • Versatility and organizational skills
    • Autonomy and proactivity
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
