Brand Manager Advance Italy
Your Role
We are looking for a Brand Manager for Advance to join Affinity’s Italian marketing team. This position is based in Milan and will report directly to the local Marketing Director.
The Brand Manager will be fully accountable for Advance brand development locally, defining and executing winning plans with consumers and veterinarians, with the main aim to accelerate its market share. At the same time, he will ensure coordination with the brand’s Global team to protect the brand’s equity and alignment with global strategy.
What you will do
- Be the expert of the category and Brand under her/his responsibility locally (Italy): tracking sell-out performance, competitors’ innovation, communication, promotional initiatives…
- Conduct regular business and consumer follow-ups and an annual business review to identify local needs and new growth opportunities
- Create annual marketing plan: Media & communication strategy & consumer promotion activities in order to boost sales and grow the category
- Define local Innovation pipeline and preparation of launch plans together with Commercial Excellence team
- Follow-up of the brand’s A&P in the country and use financial analyses to drive key decisions for the business.
- Implement and follow-up the brand’s media and communications strategy together with media team to ensure an effective brand impact in all customer journey
- Sales Support. Make sure that the sales force understands the products’ features and benefits to consumers, and develop the tools and the actions to best position the brand into the marketplace with respect to competitors
- Strict collaboration with Commercial Excellence team to define and implement plans and their tracking
- Collaboration with regulatory & technical communication teams to prepare scientific support materials
- Project coordination in collaboration with the Head of Vets and KOLs.
What we are looking for:
- +3 years of experience in Marketing Department (Health care/ Pharma or veterinarian business experience preferred)
- Digital Marketing Knowledge
- University Degree Business/Marketing/Communication or similar.
- English & Italian are our main language.
- Experience in marketing through all levers: media activation plans and point of sales activities.
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance management data and make recommendations to optimize the effectiveness of the marketing activities
