Your Role

We are looking for a FP&A Supply Chain to join our Operations Finance team. This role acts as the key finance business partner to the Supply Chain Director and the broader Supply Chain organization, supporting financial planning, performance management and decision-making across the end-to-end logistics network.


The scope of the role covers all supply chain activities from finished goods leaving our manufacturing sites through to delivery to customers and points of sale, including inbound logistics, warehousing, handling, freight, finished product losses, pallets and indirect warehousing expenses.


Reporting directly to the Finance Operations Director, this position plays a critical role in driving financial visibility, cost control and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain organization. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with a genuine interest in operations and logistics, acting as a bridge between Supply Chain, Operations and Finance.

 

What You Will Do

Supply Chain Performance Control & Financial Analysis 

  • Monitor and analyze Supply Chain costs across all categories, including transportation, warehousing, handling, pallets and finished product losses.
  • Track actual performance against Budget, Latest Estimate and Forecast, identifying key drivers of variances and quantifying P&L impact.
  • Develop meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting across countries, business units and supply chain activities.
  • Support the monthly closing process related to Supply Chain costs and performance.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning 

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and latest estimate processes for Supply Chain costs.
  • Challenge operational assumptions and ensure alignment between financial plans and operational realities.
  • Build and maintain robust forecasting models to improve visibility and predictability of logistics and warehousing expenses.
  • Support long-term planning and scenario analysis for Supply Chain activities.

Inventory & Finished Product Losses Management 

  • Monitor finished goods inventory levels, identifying risks and opportunities related to stock levels and working capital.
  • Analyze inventory evolution, aging and inventory-related financial impacts.
  • Lead the financial monitoring of finished product losses, ensuring accurate reporting, root cause analysis and action tracking.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to improve inventory efficiency and reduce waste.

Business Partnering & Decision Support 

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to the Supply Chain Director and Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Support logistics, warehousing and planning teams with financial analysis and performance insights.
  • Participate in operational reviews and provide financial guidance to support business decisions.
  • Translate operational initiatives into financial impact and ensure accountability for results.
  • Collaborate closely with Industrial Operations, S&OP, Corporate Finance and regional logistics teams across Europe.

Projects, Continuous Improvement & Business Cases 

  • Participate in strategic Supply Chain projects, assessing financial impact and supporting decision-making.
  • Develop business cases for logistics, warehousing and network optimization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reporting, planning and performance management processes.
  • Collaborate with Data & BI teams to enhance reporting capabilities, automation and analytical tools.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting 

  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain performance dashboards and KPIs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational and financial performance.
  • Provide visibility on key trends, risks and opportunities through regular management reporting.
  • Support the evolution of Supply Chain analytics through data-driven insights and enhanced reporting tools.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, Operations Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Logistics Finance or a related operational role.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial or consumer goods environment is highly valued.
  • Experience in medium-to-large multinational organizations, with exposure to complex supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Experience with owned fleet operations and transportation cost management is considered a strong plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar.
  • SAP knowledge is considered a strong plus.
  • Exposure to Planning, Demand Planning or S&OP processes is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
