Your Role

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, reporting to Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will join the Affinity’s Quality team to oversee and navigate the complex landscape of regulatory compliance in the petfood industry.

 

What will you do?

  • Be part of the product development team to provide regulatory guidance and support in order to ensure the regulatory is included since the design phase. (From product conception until artwork approval).
  • Manage and lead the regulatory procedures that are necessary from the initial phase to the end of a new product as well as provide the regulatory vision in the preparation of all the supporting documentation linked to this procedure.
  • Technical support; Prepare, review and keep updated the technical documentation of finished products and new raw materials. Review of regulatory texts on the labeling of the finished products we manufacture. (Labelling: masters and artworks)
  • Monitoring of analysis and quality control in trials and first productions: special tests on finished products and studies on new raw materials. Ensure the specification is consistent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into product development processes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate regulatory documentation for all products. Keep databases updated; completion of data in the different software. (Regulatory tool, Drive, Suppliers program, SAP…)
  • Prepare and manage regulatory filings and reports to support international marketing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries and requests.

 

What we are looking for

  • Degree in food science, biology, chemistry, veterinarian or something related to science or food.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pet food industry in a quality position.
  • Desired experience in regulatory matters. Knowledge in stages of innovation will be valued.
  • Fluent Professional English is a must
