Description

Your Role  

As Sustainability Logistics Project Manager, reporting to SC Senior Project Manager, you will join the Affinity’s Operations team in order to drive and implement sustainability projects to enhance the environmental performance of our logistic operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and execute sustainability strategies that align with the company's commitment to environmental stewardship. The geographical coverage is Europe, including the UK.  

What will you do? 

• Develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives within the logistics operations (Transport & Warehousing) in all Europe.
• Lead complex sustainability projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Utilize scientific and engineering principles to analyze data related to logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster sustainable practices and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
• Work with autonomy to assess, prioritize, and address sustainability challenges, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
• Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations, and prepare comprehensive reports on sustainability performance.

What we are looking for 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, environmental Science or related field.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment driving positive change.
• Fluent Professional English is a must
