The Lead Audit Clerk is responsible for the daily supervision of all audit clerks and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls with respect to gaming and non-gaming audit procedures.

The Lead Audit Clerk schedules, trains and provides technical advice/support to audit clerks, and performs related work as required.





  1. Ensures compliance with regulations and internal controls with respect to gaming and non-gaming audit procedures.
  2. Prepares and reviews DMR for accuracy prior to distribution.
  3. Audits both gaming and non-gaming areas as needed.
  4. Provides training of staff on gaming/audit requirements as well as in the use of the Company’s computerized systems, and assists audit personnel with questions.
  5. Supervise the audit clerks.
  6. Ensure accuracy of all duties performed by the Audit Clerks.
  7. Responsible for verifying accuracy and correctness of figures, calculations and postings of all recorded transactions against original documents as part of weekly DMR true-up.
  8. Reconciles reports to supporting documents in accordance with established internal gaming controls, as outlined on daily/weekly/monthly/annual checklists, as assigned.
  9. Issues Exception Reports for any instances of non-compliance with established internal controls.
  10. Coordinates with the Accounting Supervisor concerning revenue discrepancies and proposed adjustments to be made to correct the same.
  11. Compiles all reports pertaining to the daily audit operations and distributes/saves in accordance with the distribution list/policy.
  12. Files all documents and computer reports for future reference.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.




Responsible for the daily supervision of the Audit Clerks, including coaching and counseling, addressing and resolving problems.

Associates’ Degree in Finance or Accounting-related field required. Finance experience in a gaming environment strongly preferred.



Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required.



Must be able to effectively communicate in English.



Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 



Must have Microsoft Office experience. Knowledge of ADP strongly preferred.
