We are seeking personable, friendly, enthusiastic Casino Associates that can create a connection with each of our Guests. We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service skills that will enhance our guests’ satisfaction. Job Summary:           

As a Casino Associate you will be responsible for the smooth operation of slot machines. Ensure that players have a positive experience by resolving any issues they may have with the machine, such as payment problems or technical difficulties. You will also be responsible for overseeing and operating table games. As a Casino Associate you will be supervising players, check players’ bets, and collects or deals out chips accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promotes positive customer service by greeting and welcoming guests to the game.
  • Assist and proactively provide great customer service to all guests.  
  • Promotes positive customer relations and creates an entertaining casino environment.
  • Determines the winning and losing hands.
  • Pays winning hands with chips/tokens and places losing wagers in bank or drop box.
  • Assists new players on how to play the game.
  • Sees to it that all players follow the gaming regulations.
  • Maintains table bank and verifies amount in the table bank at the start and end of shift.
  • Exchanges cash for chips or vice versa from players and places cash in the drop box.
  • Ensures that all players are 21 years old and above.
  • Checks IDs as necessary.
  • Ensures safety of the casino money.
  • Keeps tables and area clean at all times.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable in all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Must have basic money handling skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Capable of making sound and accurate decisions involving common problems and solutions.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Prefer one (1) to three (3) years related slot experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

  • Must be fluent in the English language; however bi-lingual abilities are a plus.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Computer Skills:

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.

  • Gaming card registration required.
